Refund Policy
Introduction
This Refund Policy governs all payment and subscription transactions made through Dzine Your App (hereinafter referred to as "the Platform," "we," "us," or "our"). Dzine Your App is a subscription-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that enables Shopify merchants to build and publish mobile applications.
By subscribing to any paid plan offered by Dzine Your App, you (hereinafter referred to as "User," "you," or "your") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and expressly agree to be bound by the terms set forth in this Refund Policy, in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
This Policy is designed to be clear, fair, and enforceable. If you do not agree with any provision of this Policy, you must not subscribe to or use any paid tier of the Platform.
Subscription-Based Nature of Service
Dzine Your App operates exclusively as a subscription-based SaaS product. Access to the Platform's features — including but not limited to the drag-and-drop mobile app builder, push notification tools, real-time Shopify sync, and app publishing functionality — is granted only for the duration of an active, paid subscription.
By initiating a subscription, you agree to the following:
- You are purchasing access to the Platform for a defined billing cycle (monthly or annual), not a one-time license or perpetual right.
- The value of the service is delivered continuously throughout the subscription period, not in a single transaction.
- Digital services and SaaS products are, by their nature, consumed upon access. Once a billing cycle begins and access is granted, the service is considered rendered.
- No physical goods are exchanged. All deliverables are digital and access-based.
Free Trial Policy
Dzine Your App may, at its sole discretion, offer a limited-duration free trial to new users. The following conditions apply to all free trials:
- Free trials are available only to first-time subscribers and may not be claimed more than once per user, per business entity, or per Shopify store.
- No payment will be charged during the free trial period. However, a valid payment method must be provided at the time of registration.
- Upon expiration of the free trial, your account will automatically convert to a paid subscription and your designated payment method will be charged at the applicable plan rate.
- You are solely responsible for cancelling your subscription before the free trial expires if you do not wish to be charged. Failure to cancel before the trial end date will result in immediate billing.
- Dzine Your App reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue free trial offers at any time without prior notice.
Note: Completion of a free trial does not entitle the User to any refund of subsequent subscription charges, regardless of whether the free trial features were used.
No Refund Policy
ALL PAYMENTS MADE TO DZINE YOUR APP ARE STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE.
This is the primary and governing rule of this Policy. Once a payment is processed — whether for a monthly plan, annual plan, plan upgrade, or any other chargeable service — no refund, credit, or reimbursement will be issued under any standard circumstance.
This non-refundable policy applies explicitly to, but is not limited to, the following scenarios:
4.1Partial Usage
No refund will be issued for any portion of a subscription period that the User did not utilize, regardless of the reason for non-use. Access to the Platform is granted in full at the start of each billing cycle.
4.2Unused Features
The fact that a User did not use one or more features available under their subscription plan does not constitute grounds for a refund. Subscription fees are charged for access to the Platform, not for the actual use of individual features.
4.3Change of Mind
Dissatisfaction with the Platform, a change in business direction, or a decision to use a competing service does not entitle the User to a refund.
4.4Business Performance
Dzine Your App makes no guarantee of revenue, customer acquisition, sales performance, or any other business outcome arising from the use of a mobile application built on the Platform. Refunds will not be issued on the basis of unsatisfactory business results.
4.5App Store or Play Store Rejection
Dzine Your App does not guarantee the approval or acceptance of any application on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or any other third-party distribution platform. Approval is subject exclusively to the policies and discretion of those third parties. Rejection by any such platform does not constitute a defect in the Platform and does not entitle the User to a refund.
4.6Shopify Integration Issues Caused by User
The User is solely responsible for the correct setup, maintenance, and management of their Shopify store. Technical issues arising from misconfigured Shopify settings, theme incompatibilities, third-party Shopify app conflicts, or the User's own actions within the Shopify ecosystem are the User's responsibility and do not constitute grounds for a refund.
4.7Upgrade or Plan Changes
If a User upgrades from a lower-tier plan to a higher-tier plan mid-cycle, no refund or credit will be issued for the unused portion of the original plan. The upgraded plan charges will apply immediately upon confirmation of the upgrade.
Limited Exceptions to the No Refund Policy
Dzine Your App recognizes two narrow, strictly controlled exceptions to the non-refundable rule. These exceptions are reviewed entirely at the discretion of Dzine Your App and are not guaranteed. The existence of these exceptions shall not be construed as a general right to a refund.
5.1Verified Duplicate Payment
If a User is charged more than once for the same billing period due to a confirmed system error on the part of Dzine Your App's payment infrastructure, the duplicate charge will be refunded in full. To qualify:
- The User must submit a written refund request to our support team within seven (7) calendar days of the duplicate charge.
- The duplicate payment must be independently verifiable through our billing system records.
- Refunds for duplicate payments will be processed to the original payment method within ten (10) business days of confirmation.
5.2Verified Platform-Side Technical Failure
If a User experiences a critical technical failure that is directly caused by Dzine Your App's core infrastructure — specifically a failure that renders the Platform entirely inaccessible and is not attributable to third-party services (such as Shopify's API, app store platforms, or the User's own configuration) — a refund request may be submitted for consideration on a case-by-case basis.
To be eligible for review under this exception:
- The failure must be reported to our support team within forty-eight (48) hours of occurrence.
- The failure must be reproducible and confirmed by Dzine Your App's technical team.
- The failure must have persisted for a continuous period of seventy-two (72) or more hours without resolution.
- The User must have cooperated with our support team throughout the resolution process.
Approval of any refund under this clause is at the sole discretion of Dzine Your App. Partial credits or service extensions may be offered in lieu of monetary refunds.
These exceptions are the only circumstances under which a refund may be considered. All other refund requests will be declined without review.
Billing and Auto-Renewal
By subscribing to any paid plan, you expressly authorize Dzine Your App to charge your designated payment method on a recurring basis in accordance with the following terms:
- Monthly subscriptions are billed every thirty (30) days from the date of initial subscription activation.
- Annual subscriptions are billed once every twelve (12) months from the date of initial subscription activation.
- All subscriptions auto-renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless the User cancels prior to the renewal date.
- It is the User's sole responsibility to ensure that a valid and current payment method is on file. Dzine Your App will make reasonable attempts to process payment but is not liable for service interruptions resulting from payment failure.
- If a payment fails, the User will be notified and given a limited grace period to update their payment information. If payment is not successfully processed within that grace period, the account may be suspended or terminated without further notice.
- Dzine Your App reserves the right to modify subscription pricing. Users will be notified of any price changes at least thirty (30) days prior to the change taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
Cancellation Policy
Users may cancel their subscription at any time through the account settings dashboard or by contacting our support team. The following terms govern all cancellations:
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. The User retains full access to the Platform until the final day of the paid period.
- Cancellation does not entitle the User to any refund for the remaining unused portion of the current billing cycle. No prorated refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
- Annual plan subscribers who cancel mid-year will not receive any refund for the remaining months of their annual term.
- Upon cancellation and expiry of the final billing period, all User data, app configurations, published app settings, and associated content may be deleted or become inaccessible. Users are responsible for exporting or preserving any data they require prior to cancellation.
- Dzine Your App does not guarantee data retention after account cancellation or termination. Users are strongly advised to back up all relevant data before cancelling.
To avoid being billed for the next cycle, cancellation must be completed at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled renewal date.
Failed or Duplicate Payments
8.1Failed Payments
In the event of a failed payment, Dzine Your App may:
- Automatically retry the charge one or more times within a short period.
- Temporarily suspend access to the Platform until payment is successfully processed.
- Terminate the subscription if payment remains unresolved after the defined grace period.
Dzine Your App is not liable for any business disruption, data loss, or damages resulting from service suspension due to payment failure.
8.2Duplicate Payments
In the event of a verified duplicate charge attributable to a system error on Dzine Your App's part, a full refund of the duplicate amount will be issued to the original payment method within ten (10) business days. Refer to Section 5.1 for the complete eligibility criteria and process.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Filing an unauthorized chargeback against Dzine Your App is a breach of this Agreement and may result in immediate account suspension and legal action.
Dzine Your App takes payment disputes seriously. Users are required to contact our support team directly before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute with their bank or payment provider.
By subscribing to the Platform, you agree to the following chargeback terms:
- You will not initiate a chargeback or payment reversal without first submitting a written complaint to Dzine Your App's support team and allowing a minimum of five (5) business days for resolution.
- Chargebacks filed without prior contact with our support team, or filed in bad faith, will be contested by Dzine Your App. We will submit all relevant transaction evidence, terms agreements, and usage logs to the payment processor in defense of any disputed charge.
- In the event of a chargeback, Dzine Your App reserves the right to immediately suspend or permanently terminate the User's account without notice or refund of any remaining subscription period.
- If a chargeback is found to be unwarranted or fraudulent, Dzine Your App reserves the right to pursue recovery of the disputed amount plus any associated fees, including chargeback processing fees imposed by our payment processor.
- In cases of repeated, abusive, or fraudulent chargeback filings, Dzine Your App reserves the right to pursue legal remedies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
Users who have legitimate billing concerns are encouraged to resolve them through our official support channels prior to involving their financial institution.
Service Downtime and Maintenance
Dzine Your App strives to maintain high availability of the Platform. However, the following terms apply to service interruptions:
- Scheduled maintenance and planned downtime will be communicated in advance where reasonably possible. No refund or credit will be issued for downtime resulting from scheduled maintenance.
- Unplanned outages may occur due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to server failures, third-party infrastructure issues, internet outages, cyber-attacks, or force majeure events. No refund or credit will be issued for outages attributable to such events.
- Minor or intermittent service disruptions that do not substantially impair the User's ability to use the Platform do not constitute grounds for a refund.
- Platform availability is dependent in part on third-party services, including Shopify's API, Apple App Store infrastructure, and Google Play Store infrastructure. Downtime caused by these third-party services is outside Dzine Your App's control and does not entitle the User to a refund.
In exceptional cases of extended, verified, platform-wide outages caused solely by Dzine Your App's infrastructure, a service credit or partial refund may be considered at Dzine Your App's sole discretion, as outlined in Section 5.2.
Changes to This Policy
Dzine Your App reserves the right to update, modify, or replace this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon publication to our website or notification to Users via email or in-platform alert.
- It is the User's responsibility to review this Policy periodically.
- Continued use of the Platform following any modification to this Policy constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
- If a change materially affects your rights under this Policy, we will endeavor to provide at least thirty (30) days' notice prior to the change taking effect.
